Cyberbullying: the act of using technology for social cruelty, including harassment, impersonation, denigration, trickery, exclusion and stalking.Cyberbullies may use email, chat rooms, discussion forums, instant messaging, text messaging or websites such as MySpace.com, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Legal and Safety Issues of Cyber Bullying
- Around 10 percent of all adolescents in grades 7-9 are victims of internet bullying.
- Cyber bullying results in many youths feeling alienated and helpless.
- The most tragic result of cyber bullying is committing suicide, which happens often enough for people to recognize the issue in our schools
- Most teens will never tell their parents, who generally are clueless about what their children are going through
